The body of Samsung P1000 Galaxy is made of plastic but still its weight is 380 grams which is much heavier than any phone. The picture quality of its LCD is quite good having 1024 x 600 pixels touchscreen. The sensitivity of the Samsung Galaxy Tab touchscreen is nothing less than superb.
Below the display screen there are four buttons which includes back, home, context menu and search keys.
The Samsung P1000 Galaxy Tab runs version 2.2 of the Android OS. The selection of apps for the Galaxy Tab is quite extensive. Naturally, most of them are just automatically upscaled versions of existing apps, but since the screen isn't too huge and it isn't actually necessary to do too much upscaling you can't really see any irritating pixelization. The tablet comes with the standard battery that offers 7 hours backup time.
Samsung P1000 Galaxy equipped with a 3.15 megapixel autofocus LED Flash camera, and also support video recording along with secondary Camera embedded in it. Camera results are very good and it looks like 5 megapixel.The samsung P1000 galaxy features Google application that include Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk, Picasa integration and also support third party applications like Adobe Flash 10.1 support, Thinkfree Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF) and many more.
The Samsung P1000 Galaxy is pretty good device but it's not perfect for desktop OS, you will still be using your laptop and notebook after purchasing P1000 Galaxy. The biggest competition of Samsung P1000 Galaxy is ofcourse Apple and pricing of Samsung P1000 Galaxy will decied it's future, and samsung is pretty good with it. Only time will tell that Samsung P1000 Galaxy takes over the market or Apple will be the first choice for the users to buy their phones.
