On 23rd of sept, 2010 Sony introduces its first 3D front projector called VPL-VW90ES 3D Projector. Sony already have great contributions in 3D world as they got 3D TV,PS3 blu-ray technology, movies, games and many more. VW90ES brings 3D home theater with stunning HD quality performance. The VW90ES also shares the heritage of previously acclaimed Sony SXRD projectors delivering incredible 2D performance.
Projector delivers full HD (1920 x 1080) film-like performance with Sony’s 24p True Cinema. Sony's proprietary 240Hz high frame rate technology,
the projector delivers smooth, full high-definition 3D images. The projector uses a single Ultra High Performance (UHP) lamp that drives brightness of 1,000 ANSI lumens and delivers a sharp, deep black picture thanks to Sony’s Advanced Iris 3™ technology that helps to produce a dynamic contrast ratio of 150,000:1.

Sony VPL-VW90ES also built to seamlessly integrate with third-party control systems. Projector can easily be placed in existing home theaters.It includes two pair of Sony active shutter 3D glasses that are also compatible with Sony’s 3D capable BRAVIA HDTVS and a built in 3D transmitter. Also, the projector is very quiet , thanks to low noise fan , which just reaching 22db. Sony will charge around $10,000 for the VW90ES when it comes out in November 2010.
