Windows Phone 7 Review

Window Phone 7 ReviewMicrosoft released a technical preview version of Windows Phone 7 on 18 July 2010. But it will release officially in Europe in October and the US in November of 2010 as well as Asian countries sometime in 2011. After looking at it's preview version its seems that this may be have completely new user interface which is named "Metro".

Feature like phone, music and videos, email, office, and contacts. User can even add and delete tiles and edit them. Windows Phone 7 will have a more friendly touchscreen UI than previous Windows Mobile devices by using multitouch technology.
Windows phone 7 will also feature integration with facebook, twitter, Windows Live, Xbox Live and bing service.

Windows Phone 7 will be having modified version of IE7. "Windows Phone Update" system, meaning the browser will be able to automatically update itself and the layout engine. Initially after the release of Windows Phone 7, IE7 wont be able to use flash version but after few month adobe will release latest version of flash 10.1 for Windows Phone 7 users.

Software updates will be delivered to Windows Phone users via Microsoft Update, as they are for desktop Windows users. The software component, called Windows Phone Update, exists both on the phone. Users will be notified to attach their phones to a PC if such an update is required. All third-party applications can be updated automatically from the Windows Phone Marketplace application store.

Windows Phone 7 Marketplace will support the buying and selling of applications in 17 countries; Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, UK and United States and Windows Phone 7 will support 5 languages: English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
